Visual Artists Support Stipend

Each year, Can Serrat offers a limited number of Support Stipends to visual artists and writers. The stipends cover 40% of the total cost (food, lodging and workspace) of stays lasting from 30-90 days.

The JVE has positions available in the Fine Art and Design Departments for the next academic year, starting on 1 January 2011. Artists are invited to submit proposals for individual research projects; designers to propose projects for one of the new initiatives started by the department.

Artists Unlimited: Artists Residency, Germany

Guest Artist has the opportunity to live and work at Artists Unlimited e.V, Bielefeld Germany, for 3 months. The Residency includes a solo exhibition and monthly living grant of Euros 550, to buy food and materials.



The SZPILMAN AWARD is awarded to works that exist only for a moment or a short period of time. The purpose of the award is to promote such works whose forms consist of ephemeral situations.

The Alexander Rave Foundation Scholarship

The Alexander Rave Foundation supports education and training within the fields of social science research, the arts and culture. It does this through its annual Research Award for an outstanding thesis or dissertation in the field of foreign cultural policy, and through a scholarship programme for curators, restorers, museum technicians and cultural managers from developing countries and countries in transition.
